Our bell tents are hand made to create a lighter, fresher and more spacious version of the traditional tent . They also feature a beautiful woodstove, that adds a real wow factor to your pitch.
The camp site is situated in glorious South Devon between Exeter and Plymouth and is only minutes away from Dartmoor and close to the South Hams and the beautiful English Riviera offering Blue Flag awarded beaches in Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torquay and Paignton.

As night falls your bell tents are lit up with solar and safe candle lamps and we guarantee you will feel relaxed and far removed from the normal daily routine.
Your secret bell tent is your escape from television, computers and telephones (unless you bring your mobile - we do have good reception). You soon relax into a more natural rhythm of life and find yourself doing things you hadn’t done enough of in a while such as long conversations, playing games (of the non electronic kind) with the children or simply stargazing…………

Your bell tents are fully equipped with everything you may require for your stay. Your bell tent comes with full size beds with warm duvets and pillows.
There are four bell tents pitched so you can all sleep together or take a tent each!
For cooking you have the Pipsqueak stove, a camping gas stove and all the crockery and cutlery you require. A cool box with ice packs that can be exchanged for fresh ones at the café bar.
Tables and chairs, safe candle holders and lanterns to light up the dark night and a log burner to keep you warm when the nights are slightly chilly.
Few modern campsites allow any sort of fire. We love the crackling of a campfire and the smell of wood smoke in the air, it is part of the unique secret bell tent experience. . We positively encourage you to make a fire in one of our firepits and enjoy the primal satisfaction it offers. Many a tale is told and memories made around the camp fire.
